Attorney Zachary Lawrence attended college at the American University of Rome (Italy) for two years and then graduated from Hampshire College (Amherst, MA) in 2005. Since Hampshire College is part of the 5-College system in Amherst, MA, he also took most of his pre-law classes at Amherst College and Smith College (Northampton, MA). He received his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law (Springfield, MA) in 2009. He is currently licensed in the State and Federal Courts of Connecticut. Attorney Lawrence won awards for oral argument presentation in Massachusetts in 2007-08. Prior to becoming an attorney, Zachary Lawrence was an adjunct professor of political science at Asnuntuck Community College (Enfield, CT) and an English teacher at New Haven Adult Education (CT). He has also conducted research on various public policy positions on behalf of the Yale University School of Public Health and the Yale Center for Bioethics. Attorney Lawrence has a conversational fluency in Italian and has also done academic research throughout the United States, Europe, East Africa, and Australia/New Zealand.
